General Rules:
1) Each controller may hold two wrestlers, and one manager, or one wrestler, and two managers. Controllers who go over said limit will be asked to get rid of characters until they
2) Keep insults limited to RP, do not insult other members outside of a character role. Discuss problems reasonably, or you will lose your argument, and possibly be suspended or banned based on the seriousness of the offense.
3.) Respect the judgment of moderators(Referees, Commissioner{s}) and administrators. If you have a problem, IM, PM or e-mail JR
4) Extremely racist and or sexist comments are not welcome in or out of RP. These are bounded by common sense. For example in the sexist dept., hitting on someone IN CHARACTER is alright, as it isn't real, but remember to limit it to a minimum and keep it as pg-13 as possible. Racist remarks are not welcome at all, even in character. Racial terminology is also not welcome. For example, calling a member of the board of Italian descent a "wop" will get you banned permanently.
5) Respect other members of the fed. While most of us know each other off of OCW, this is still an e-fed. We want other people to join, and disrespecting current members might discourage that. Besides, were all here to RP, not to be sh*t on by everyone else.
6) Please keep spam to a minimum, and try to stay on topic.
7) Please remember that this is a game, and is not REAL. Do not start up trouble in OOC posts about matches. Everyone will lose at one time or another. Calling people names is a serious offense, and threats will be handled as real. You may be banned instantly and permanently if you less than jokingly threaten someone, depending on the seriousness of the offense.
8) If you are going on vacation or leave, tell the board, or pass it on to someone to tell the board.
9) Please try to keep things literate, and do not post nudity outside of pm form. We try to keep the board open to people of younger ages or ones who do not wish to see anything that may offend them.
10) Going off topic repeatedly, while not a serious offense, gets annoying after a while. If found doing it repeatedly, you will be given a series of five warnings, after which the second offense action will be carried out.
11) Two months after a first offense is committed by a member of the roster, if the member hasn't made any more trouble, the slate is wiped clean.
Role-playing and Character Rules:
1) Try to keep RP's over 6 lines, and definitely above 4. The ref is the only person who should have to make his short. The only event in which it could possibly be accepted as short is if you're RPing a response. An answer to previous dialogue is an example of this.
2) Be courteous and allow your opponent 24 hours to RP. After the 24 hours is up, you may RP again. There is an exception to this, however. If you were waiting on a referee to act in your last post, the other party may just be awaiting the referee's judgement. On these posts, you must wait no less than 36 hours before posting again, to prevent taking advantage of your opponent's courtesy.
3) Only 2 finishers in total per match.
4) No breaking your opponent's bones unless the match has been previously planned by all participants. You may not describe a condition of injury, such as broken ribs, however, you may say unspecific maybes such as, "____ is seen clutching his ribs after ____ hits him with a moonsault."
5) No one can end their own match unless the match has been previously planned out by all participants.
6) Do NOT post OOC in someone else's match. The OOC board was made for a reason, make a post in there called "pretaining to (insert names here)'s match." You MAY post OOC in your own match, but not if it's something that can be settled over pm.
7) Posts can not go beyond the limits of special effects and cameras, and magical capabilities are not allowed. For example, it is alright to disappear in a cloud of smoke after a match, but you cannot strike someone with a bolt of lightning.
8) You may not kill another member of the roster unless it has been decided by both parties.
9) If a referee has not posted twelve hours after your opponent has posted, you may post. However, be courteous on when you use it. Most refs won't post in between nine at night and nine in the morning. Also keep in mind that some referees have school during the day when taking advantage of this rule. If an opponent has used a finisher, this rule does not apply, and the ref must post before you can.
10) Use common sense when creating a character. Someone who is 7 feet isn't going to weigh 150 lbs., just as someone who is 5 feet isn't going to weigh 300 lbs without being really, really fat.
11) Remember to keep it fair in your matches
12) Don't use any guns, automobiles, etc. as weapons
13)Interference is not acceptable unless all parties in the match are agreed and informed. Also an admin must be informed.
On Referees:
1) Referees are designated to a match for a reason. Unless a match has been planned out by all participants, DO NOT count your own pins. If said ref has not posted in a TWELVE hour period from your opponent's last match, only then may you continue your match. However, you MAY NOT continue the match if the opponent ended their post with a finishing maneuver, because those counts should be on the Ref's shoulders.
2) Any arguments with referees will be handled as if you are fighting with an Administrator.
3) If you find something concerning a referee's decision unfair, plead your case on the OOC board REASONABLY, or with one of the admins, and if they agree with your side of a case, said admin will overrule said referee's authority. Note: Losing a match does not count as an unfair call.
4) A referee is to call matches down the middle. Keeping that in mind, if you are caught 'begging' a referee to call a match in your favor, you will be punished.
5) All inquiries for referee accounts are to be sent to JR. JR will review them, and if he himself sees fit, will give acceptance.
On Championships and Contenderships:
1) As a champion, not showing up to a title match will cost you your belt. You will not be allowed to challenge for any titles for two months. As a contender, it will cost you your contendership. In either event, you may not challenge for any title, or contendership for three months.
2) As a champion, you are expected to act like a champion. You are to be on your best behavior at all times. Failure to comply with any rules will result in a stripping of your title as a FIRST offense.
3) A champion has a quota of at least one RP or OOC post every three days, and at least one RP post per week. If the champion fails to meet this, a new champion will be found to represent the title as soon as possible.
4)You must work your way up the rankings. If you are #5 then you can only challenge #4(etc.). If the person above you doesn't respond to your challenge (whether saying yes or no) in 5 days, the spots will be flipped.
5)#1 & #2 can challenge for the title. The champion can deny #2 but must accept #1.
6)If you challenge and lose you will be taken off the list and the bottom spot will be open and decided in a match.
Now when I see fit more rules can be added or some will be taken away, but this is the way its gonna be for a while
